Agreement
These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the DD-Polyglot mobile application and related services. By using the app, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
The service
DD-Polyglot provides language-learning tools such as short stories, pronunciation practice, notes, progress tracking, and optional Practice features. Features may change over time as we improve the product.
Accounts
You may use the app as a guest or create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your sign-in method and for activity under your account. Provide accurate information and notify us if you suspect unauthorized access.
Subscriptions and purchases
Some features require a paid subscription (for example, DD-Polyglot Plus). Purchases are processed by Apple or Google according to their terms. Subscription length, price, free trials, renewals, and cancellations are managed through your app store account. Except where required by law or store policy, fees are non-refundable through DD-Polyglot directly.
Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the service, attempt to disrupt or reverse engineer it beyond rights allowed by law, abuse Practice or other AI-powered features, harass other users, or use the app for unlawful purposes. We may suspend or terminate access for violations.
Content and intellectual property
The app, stories, branding, and related materials are owned by DD-Polyglot or its licensors. You may use them only for personal, non-commercial language learning through the app. Feedback you send may be used to improve the product without obligation to you.
AI-generated practice
Practice content may be generated with automated systems and can contain errors. Use it as a learning aid, not as guaranteed authoritative language instruction.
Disclaimers
The service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation, or that learning outcomes will meet any particular result. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, DD-Polyglot and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill arising from your use of the app. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the greater of amounts you paid us for the service in the 12 months before the claim or USD $50.
Termination
You may stop using the app at any time and cancel subscriptions through your app store settings. We may suspend or end access if you violate these terms or if we discontinue the service. Provisions that should survive termination will remain in effect.
Changes
We may update these terms. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. The “Last updated” date will reflect revisions.
